SYNTHESIZED BEAM-FORMING METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SC MBMS TRANSMISSION

The beam-forming system and method for MBMS transmission are provided. The method includes: obtaining DoA information of each user through a uplink estimation; calculating beam-forming weight coefficients based on the obtained DoA information; generating a synthesized weight coefficient based on the beam-forming weight coefficients. The method further includes judging the number of the users. When judging that the number of the MBMS users is smaller than a predetermined threshold, the beam-forming weight coefficients are calculated according to all obtained DoA information. When judging that the number of the MBMS users is larger than the predetermined threshold, the obtained DoA information is firstly grouped and then one DoA information is selected from each group for calculating the beam-forming weight coefficients.
