<p>The present invention relates to a steam generating device for a cleaner which can clean by generating steam. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the steam generating device comprises of: a water tank which allows the contained water to be heated and converted into steam; a heater which is positioned on one side of the water tank; and a temperature sensor which is disposed on one side of the heater and senses whether water is deficient through a heating value of the heater. And, the heater comprises of: a heating element in which a plurality of PTC ceramic elements are arranged in rows or in columns; an electrode plate which is formed to be equivalent to the arrangement of the heating element and applies the current to the heating element; an insulating sheet which covers the electrode plate and the heating element in multiple ways in order to satisfy the insulation standard, when the electrode plate makes contact with the heating element; and a case which accommodates the heating element covered by a insulating sheet. Accordingly, the steam generating device weighs little while the insulation standard is met whereby the user may clean up a lot more easily.</p> |
