PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier capable of detecting not just a fully closed state when a damper should be in an opened state but even damper malfunction of a half closed state by a simple configuration without a detecting means for detecting opening and closing action of the damper.SOLUTION: A controller 100 has an operating condition decision part 100a deciding an operating condition, a determination criterion value calculating part 100b calculating a determination criterion value for determining malfunction of an opened/closed state of the damper by using a variable for deciding the operating condition by the operating condition decision part 100a, and a damper malfunction determining part 100c determining whether there is damper malfunction of the damper not in an opened state when it should be in the opened state on the basis of a blow-off temperature detected by a blow-off temperature sensor 16 in an ON state of a heater 13 by using the determination criterion value calculated by the determination criterion value calculating part 100b. |
