PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more easily and more flexibly control a plurality of home appliances as desired by a user.SOLUTION: The home appliance control system includes: a control index receiving means 19 for receiving a control index for controlling the operation of a plurality of home appliances 13 with one-dimensional operation instruction; an observation index calculating means 111 for calculating an observation index showing a current state on the basis of an observation value acquired from at least one sensor 14; and a control command generating means 112 for generating a control command for controlling each operation of the plurality of home appliances 13 so that the control index is equal to the observation index for each home appliance 13 on the basis of the control index instructed to the control index receiving means 19 and the observation index calculated by the observation index calculating means 111, and transmitting the control command to each home appliance 13.
