PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a whip antenna having a radiation element and a parasitic element and to make it usable as a broadband antenna even when a feeding point is made high in the whip antenna.SOLUTION: In the whip antenna 2, a linear radiation element 20, and a linear parasitic element 21 arranged at an interval ED approximately in parallel with the radiation element 20 are provided on height H from the ground 25. The tip of a feeding part 23 of the height H is considered as the feeding point 24, the other end of a coil 22 one end of which is connected to the feeding point 24 is connected to a lower end of the radiation element 20, and thus, power is supplied to the radiation element 20 via the coil 22 from the feeding point 24. A lower end of the parasitic element 21 is connected to the ground 25 via an outer conductor of the feeding part 23. The interval ED between the radiation element 20 and the parasitic element 21 is narrowed to about 2 mm by an action of the coil 22, and the whip antenna is made to be usable as a broadband antenna. |
