PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic shovel capable of clamping an object to be clamped by an attachment and a clamping tool and excellently performing work using the attachment with the clamping tool stored.SOLUTION: The hydraulic shovel 10 includes: an arm 36 wherein the attachment is mounted at a distal end; the clamping tool 50 supported freely movably by the arm between an operation position for clamping the object to be clamped by cooperating with the attachment and a storage position wherein the clamping tool 50 is stored in the arm; and a cylinder 60. In the cylinder 60, one axial end is supported rotationally by the arm, while the other axial end is supported rotationally by the clamping tool, and the one axial end is positioned in a position wherein it overlap with the arm in the view from the rotation axis direction of the clamping tool when the clamping tool is positioned in the storage position. When the cylinder 60 extends in the axial direction, the clamping tool is turned to the operation position from the storage position. When the cylinder 60 shrinks in the axial direction, the clamping tool is turned from the operation position to the storage position. |
