PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating agent having the function of absorbing and blocking infrared and ultraviolet rays, which is suitable as a countermeasure which has been strongly required to prevent ultraviolet and infrared rays of sunlight from entering through the glass surface of a building, a car window or the like, and causing a temperature rise inside a room, a car or the like, and sunburn of the human body or deterioration and damage of commercial products and exhibits by ultraviolet rays.SOLUTION: The coating agent having the function of absorbing and blocking infrared and ultraviolet rays, which can be easily applied on the glass surface and is excellent in durability and a pot life, is prepared by adding a curing accelerator and a drying rate regulator to a mixed liquid of a zinc oxide pigment doped with a different kind of metal exhibiting the effect of absorbing and blocking infrared and ultraviolet rays simultaneously, and an alkoxide compound of an inorganic binder. |
