PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fold-up desk which is easy to divide and fold up, and enables the casters to be put into a usable state concurrently with being folded up.SOLUTION: The fold-up desk includes a top plate 3 held so as to be turnable by 90° between a horizontal state and a vertical state, and a horizontal frame member which connects two legs 2 in parallel to each other at a predetermined interval. Each leg 2 includes an upper mechanism 5 and a fixed lower mechanism 6 attached to the upper mechanism removably therefrom. The upper mechanism 5 includes a turning mechanism which is provided at an upper pedestal feature and turns by 90° an arm 9 to which the top plate 3 is fixed. The lower mechanism 6 includes a caster portion, a head portion, and an resilient member. The turning mechanism includes a turning member to which the arm 9 is fixed and a locking mechanism. When the top plate 3 is moved into a vertical state, the head portion is moved downward, and the casters 7 are positioned below a leg stand to be brought into contact with a floor. When the top plate 3 is in a horizontal state, the head portion is moved upward, and the casters 7 are positioned above the leg stand, the bottom surface of which is brought into contact with the floor. |
