<p>A holding type transferring device wherein that portion of the device which makes contact with a load is extended in life. A transferring device (100) for sliding and transferring a load (200), which is held by the device, between a rack (302) and a lifting table (316) which are arranged adjacent to each other, wherein the transferring device (100) is provided with a contact body (109) making contact with the load (200), an arm (101) for applying a force in a holding direction, which is a horizontal direction, to the load (200) through the contact body (109), and a connecting device (130) for interconnecting the arm (101) and the contact body (109) such that the contact body (109) can move in the vertical direction relative to the arm (101) without moving in the holding direction.</p> |
