PURPOSE: A touch sensor and a display device detects an object by obtaining detection signal in a detection circuit according to a range of electric line between a driving electrode and a detection electrode. CONSTITUTION: One or more detection electrodes(44) forms capacitance through cooperating with each driving electrode(43). A detection circuit sanctions driving signals to each driving electrode. By responding to each driving signal, the detection circuit detects an object by detection signals of each detection electrode. A controller changes a range of electric force lines between driving electrodes and detection electrodes.
