PURPOSE: A humidifier and an air cleaner with the same are provided to maintain the cleanliness of a humidification filter by removing foreign materials on the surface of the humidification filter. CONSTITUTION: A humidifier(200) comprises a humidification filter(220) and a water tank(240). The humidification filter is composed of a conveyer belt. The upper end of the conveyer belt engages with a top winding roller(222) and the lower end engages with a lower winding roller(224). A water tank is placed on the lower part of the humidification filter. The lower part of the humidification filter is submerged under water in the water tank. A drive motor(223) provides torque and is connected to the upper winding roller or the lower winding roller. The humidification filter comprises a water-absorbing area(220a) and a non-water-absorbing area(220b). A washing brush(228) is placed to contact with the humidification filter. The washing brush eliminates foreign materials on the surface of the humidification filter when the humidification filter moves. |
