PURPOSE: A recording medium, a data recording/reproducing method, and a data recording/reproducing apparatus are provided to efficiently determine whether an AV stream recorded/reproduced in a recording medium is 3D image data. CONSTITUTION: A recording medium, a data recording/reproducing method, and a data recording/reproducing apparatus includes a data area, a field, and a management area. Information for determining whether an AV stream is a 3D image stream is recoded in a management area. The AV stream comprises the first and second AV streams. The first AV stream is an image stream of a left view. The second AV stream is an image stream of a right view. Reproduction managing information includes a field for determining whether the first and second AV streams are made of independent AV stream files.
