PURPOSE: A guitar type game controller is provided, which can be operated in a mode similar to an actual playing mode. CONSTITUTION: A guitar type game controller comprises: a body(101) including a peak input unit generating a first input signal; an extension part(102) extended from the outside of the body; and a button input part(104) arranged in the extension part. The peak input unit includes: a contact piece support stand installed at one side of the body; a contact piece which is installed in the contact piece support stand and is exposed outside; a peak supporting wire installed at the other side of the body; and a peak installed at the end side of the peak supporting wire.
