PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add suitable restriction of printing setting in printing processing when a condition set about a user is satisfied even if the user himself/herself is not conscious as such.SOLUTION: A control unit 10 of an ink jet recorder 1 determines restriction contents to printing setting of a print job of a user who satisfies a printing restriction condition, and stores the restriction contents as restriction information in an external storage device 93. The control unit 10 updates the stored restriction information in accordance with a printing setting history (printing ratio, color ratio and use frequency of printing) in a print job of the corresponding user each time an update period arrives, and outputs the updated printing setting history with the user ID of the corresponding user to each client terminal 14. A CPU 16 of each client terminal 14 associates input restriction information with the user ID to store them in an external storage device 21. On receiving a printing request from the user, the CPU 16 generates a print job while restricting printing setting in restriction contents of the restriction information of the external storage device 21 corresponding to the user. |
