PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device that is improved in an aperture ratio.SOLUTION: In the device, color filters with different adjacent colors are formed at a so-called TFT substrate side. A first color filter which is one color filter is overlappingly arranged on a second color filter which is the other color filter, without protruding from an area of forming a drain signal line or a gate signal line, when viewed planarly. A first tapered section is formed on a part overlapping with the second color filter of the first color filter, and a second tapered section is formed on a part overlapped with the first color filter of the second color filter. A taper angle of the first tapered section and a taper angle of the second tapered section are set not less than 45° and not more than 90°, respectively, based on the surface of a lower signal line of the first tapered section and the second tapered section. The width of the signal line is set ≥1 μm and ≤4 μm. |
