PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vent-up detecting method for surely and quickly detecting the sign of vent-up of an extruder equipped with a vent.SOLUTION: In a cylinder (5), a first pressure sensor (12) is set near a granulator (3), a second pressure sensor (13) is set at a given position between the vent (10) and granulator (3), and a third pressure sensor (14) is set near the vent (10) close to the granulator (3), respectively. Pressure of molten resin near the vent (10) is predicted from the pressure of the molten resin measured by the first and second pressure sensors (12, 13), to detect the sign of the vent-up. From the pressure of the molten resin measured by the third sensor (14), the occurrence of the vent-up can be detected. |
