PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chassis for avionics that serves a function to shield from electromagnetic interference, a function to protect from lightening strike, and a function to dissipate generated heat to fulfill the functions without increasing the weight of aircraft unnecessarily.SOLUTION: A chassis (12) for avionics is provided with a chassis (16) including thermally conductive walls (44, 46) that support a card rail (20) having an outer surface and used for mounting a printed circuit board (14). The chassis (12) for avionics has a radiation fin (58) extending from the outer surface for conducting heat generated from the PCB (14). |
