PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trolley wire which improves a galloping characteristic by restraining the separation of an air current from a trolley wire upper surface by reducing trolley stress.SOLUTION: An upper surface 9D is a curved surface for constituting an upper part of the trolley wire 9, and has a separation restraining part 9d. The separation restraining part 9d is a part for restraining separation of the air current from the upper surface 9D of the trolley wire 9 for reducing vertical vibration when receiving a cross wind, and has curved surfaces 9e-9g. A Karman vortex is produced around the trolley wire 9 where the trolley wire 9 receives the cross wind, and the vertical vibration is produced in the trolley wire 9 when the air current separates from the upper surface 9D of the trolley wire 9. A radius of curvature Rof curved surfaces 9f and 9g in both shoulders of the trolley wire 9 is formed smaller than a radius of curvature Rof a curved surface 9e in a central part of the trolley wire 9 (R<R). Thus, the separation of the air current from the upper surface 9D of the trolley wire 9 is restrained, also restraining the vertical vibration of the trolley wire 9. |
