PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical method and apparatus for recycling a waste edible oil, by which a recycled oil capable of being mixed with kerosene, gas oil, heavy oil, or the like in a high mixing ratio and being used as a diesel fuel oil is obtained from the waste edible oil such as waste tempura oil at a low operation cost in a reduced wastes-generating state, and which can thereby be utilized for economically viable management.SOLUTION: The method for treating the waste edible oil, comprising treating the waste edible oil with a centrifugal separator to remove impurities, thus obtaining a recycled oil, is characterized that the total treating time T for staying the treating waste edible oil in the centrifugal separator is 2 to 20 times the standard staying time T, when the centrifugal separator is used at a standard treating flow rate. |
