PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a magnetic carrier, preventing cracks or chipping in surfaces of a magnetic carrier, having little residual resin composition particles and performing a uniform coating process when surfaces of magnetic carrier core particles are subjected to a coating process with coating resin composition particles.SOLUTION: The method includes coating surfaces of magnetic carrier core particles with resin composition particles by rotating a rotor having a plurality of stirring members on the surface thereof, wherein during the coating process, the surfaces of the magnetic carrier core particles are coated with the resin composition by repeatedly transporting the materials in a direction toward a drive part and transporting the materials in an opposite direction toward the drive part. The volume-basis 50% particle diameter (D50) of the resin composition particles is 0.2 μm or more and 6.0 μm or less, and particles in a size of not less than 10.0 μm are included in an amount of not more than 2.0 vol.%. |
