PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more correctly determine which of a glow plug and an energization control device causes abnormality by more surely distinguishing between a brake in a glow plug and a short circuit in a switching means.SOLUTION: An energization control device 30 includes an energization signal output means 32 which determines whether or not energization from a power supply unit 44 to a glow plug 1 is allowed, a switching means 34 which is arranged between the power supply unit 44 and glow plug 1 and which switches between energization and non-energization to the glow plug 1, a conductive path 46 which is electrically connected between the glow plug 1 and switching means 34, an AD converter 36 which executes AD conversion of voltage input through the conductive path 46, and an ECU 42 which acquires voltage Vinput from the conductive path 46 via the AD converter 36. The energization control device 30 is provided with a pull-up means 38 which is electrically connected to the conductive path 46 and supplies a prescribed voltage lower than a supply voltage of the power supply unit 44, and determines the existence of abnormality on the basis of the voltage V. |
