PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network communication system and a method for setting the network communication system, which allows an operator who does not have special knowledge about communication setting of communication equipment or an operator who does not know individual situations to easily and reliably set the communication equipment.SOLUTION: The network communication system is provided with: first communication equipment 1 which is connected to a communication network A; second communication equipment 2 which is connected to the first communication equipment 1; a portable information terminal 3 which configures communication setting to the second communication equipment 2; and a management server 4 which creates and manages setting information required for configuring the communication setting to the second communication equipment 2, which is transmitted to the portable information terminal 3.
