PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing costs, while improving characteristics of the cover body of an airbag device.SOLUTION: This airbag device 21 deploys an airbag 31 to the occupant side upward from a door 1. The cover body 22 covering the airbag 31 is formed by laminating an inner part 62 on the inner surface side of an outer part 61. The inner part 62 is formed while being divided into the first inner part 81 of a soft rein and the second inner part 82 of a hard resin. These inner parts 81 and 82 are formed into a nesting shape by respectively projecting projection parts 107 and 108 in mutually opposed edges 105 and 106. The rigidity of an opposed boundary part of the respective inner parts 81 and 82 can be improved, and the deformation of the cover body 22 can be restrained even when receiving a large force when deploying the airbag 31. The characteristics of the cover body 22 can be easily improved by making the characteristics of the respective inner parts 81 and 82 different.
