PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely control a hill start, by preventing a brake control unit from erroneously diagnosing communication interruption, when restarting an engine stopped during an idle stop.SOLUTION: When restarting the engine stopped during the idle atop, electric power is supplied to a brake control unit 11 for backup by a boosting circuit 10a. The existence of the communication interruption with the other unit so as not to supply electric power for a backup is not diagnosed by a diagnosing means of the brake control unit 11 when restarting the engine. The hill start is also surely controlled when restarting the engine based on a diagnostic result of the diagnosing means by the diagnosing means of the brake control unit 11. |
