The present invention relates to an LED floodlight in which a heat-dissipating housing with a natural convection heat-dissipating unit and a heat-dissipating lampshade for performing both a light-guiding function and a heat-dissipating function are arranged to achieve improved heat dissipation performance, and to thus ensure a heat-dissipating performance required and sufficient for a floodlight which is an LED lighting device having a high level of input power (W), and to significantly improve the quality of the LED floodlight. To accomplish this, the LED floodlight of the present invention comprises: a light source unit in which an array of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) are mounted on a PCB; said heat-dissipating housing which has a main body unit with a light source installation portion for said light source unit, and said natural convection heat-dissipating unit, wherein said natural convection heat-dissipating unit has base heat-dissipating fins radially protruding toward the outer periphery of the lampshade from the main body, and disposed in a space with an open bottom, and a vertical tubular heat-dissipating rim for connecting the outer end of each of the base heat-dissipating fins such that a plurality of air passages are formed in the vertical direction through the space between the main body and the heat-dissipating rim; and said heat-dissipating lampshade which reflects and guides light emitted by the light source unit, and which has a heat-absorbing joint portion contacting the heat-dissipating housing. |
