Provided is an automatic supply method for a lubrication improver, wherein when a target supply amount of DME is supplied to a fuel tank (3) of an engine (2) through a fuel supply line (111), a lubrication improver is supplied into the fuel supply line (111) to thereby mix the lubrication improver with the fuel. The automatic supply method for a lubrication improver comprises (step S3) calculating the amount of the lubrication improver to be supplied, corresponding to the target supply amount so that the ratio between the target supply amount and the amount of the lubrication improver to be supplied is a predetermined ratio; (step S4) setting a supply time for the lubrication improver which is required to supply the supply amount of lubrication improver to be shorter by a predetermined amount of time than a fuel supply time which is necessary to supply the target supply amount of fuel; (step 5) calculating the flow rate of the lubrication improver supplied on the basis of the supply time of the lubrication improver and the supply amount of the lubrication improver; and (steps S9 to S12) continuously supplying the lubrication improver at the flow rate for the supply time of the lubrication improver.
