PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective film for polarizing plate, which is excellent in transparency and mechanical strength even after stretching and prevents dimensional change even under high temperature and high humidity.SOLUTION: The protective film for a polarizing plate comprises a polyarylate having a repeating unit represented by general formula (I) and a repeating unit represented by general formula (II), and a polyester having a repeating unit represented by general formula (III) and a repeating unit represented by general formula (IV), wherein A, B, D and E represent a substituent; a, b, d and e represent the number of substitutions; R1 and R2 represent H or alkyl; and Ak represents alkylene. |
