A dispenser comprises a housing (4) and a door pivotally attached to the housing (4) via a substantially vertically arranged hinge. The housing (4) comprises a hinge wall (16), an upper end wall (10), a substantially vertical wall (12) and a lower end wall (14). The walls (10, 12, 14, 16) define an edge (36) delimiting a lateral charge opening (38). The housing (4) is provided with a dispensing opening (32) at the lower end wall (14). The door comprises an essentially vertical portion, a free end opposite the hinge and a door rim at lest partly adjacent the edge (36) of the housing (4) when the door is in a closed position. The (Edge 36) of the housing (4) has a free edge portion (42) extending along the upper end wall (10), the substantially vertical wall (12) and the lower end wall (14). The free edge portion (42) comprises a guiding element (44) for co-operation with a region of the door rim during pivoting of the door towards the closed position and for vertically positioning the free end of the door. The guiding element (44) is provided with an upwardly inclined surface (56).
