PURPOSE: A molten treatment device with molten metal using a slag dam is provided to adjust the height of a slag dam by the formation of slag dam through self-coating of molten slag by cooling. CONSTITUTION: A molten treatment device with molten metal using a slag dam comprises a combustion chamber(20), a combustion gas outlet(30), a molten slag tap hole(40), a pipe-shaped cooling jacket(50), slag dam(60), a control valve(80), and a controller(90). The combustion chamber fuses the waste using a heating unit(11). The refrigerant of the pipe-shaped cooling jacket flows in the longitudinal direction. The pipe-shaped cooling jacket is installed at the front end of the molten slag tap hole. The control valve is installed in a flow line(81). The controller controls the cooling capacity of the pipe-shaped cooling jacket.
