PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray contrast medium with visible light transmission property from whole directions.SOLUTION: The X-ray contrast medium 1 includes: a visible light transmission unit 2 which is formed by containing one or more kinds of polymeric materials and has transparency to transmit the visible light; and X-ray contrast particles 3 which are dispersed and arranged in the visible light transmission unit 2 and have X-ray non-transmission property where the average particle size is not less than 1 nm and not more than 400 nm. The average inter-wall distance of the X-ray contrast particles 3 dispersedly arranged in the visible light transmission unit 2 is not less than 1 nm and not more than 10 micrometers. |
