PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently separating and purifying a lignophenol derivative.SOLUTION: A lignophenol derivative is separated and purified through steps of: preparing an aqueous dispersion liquid of a phenol derivative solution containing a lignophenol derivative; treating the aqueous dispersion liquid with methylethyl ketone to separate a methylethyl ketone layer; and adding the methylethyl ketone layer to a poor solvent of the lignophenol derivative to separate a precipitate.
