PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome deterioration of image quality produced as a result of both the trapping processing and resolution conversion processing.SOLUTION: An image forming device includes a trapping processing means for extending an outline of either of objects in contact with a boundary toward the other outline; a resolution conversion processing means for changing an edge density of an image; and a limiting means for imposing limitation to prevent processing by the trapping processing means and processing for changing the edge density by the resolution conversion processing means from being applied to the same pixel. |
