PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder for injection machine which includes sufficient strength against injection pressure and is inexpensive in manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: The cylinder (1) for an injection machine includes a tubular cylinder body (2) and a sleeve (3) of non-heat-treated steel. The sleeve (3) is heated, inserted from a rear side of the cylinder body (2), and suitable for the cylinder body (2) by shrink fitting. The sleeve (3) is locked to a collar part (13) near the end of the cylinder body for positioning. A hopper flange (4) is suitable for a diameter-reduced part (15) of the rear part of the cylinder body (2) by shrink fitting. |
