Disclosed is a mat material comprising glass fibers, wherein each of the glass fibers comprises 52 to 62 wt% of SiO2, 9 to 17 wt% of Al2O3, 17 to 27 wt% of CaO, 0 to 9 wt% of MgO, 0 to 4 wt% of TiO2, and 0 to 5 wt% of ZnO, and does not contain B2O3 substantially, wherein the sum total of Na2O and K2O is 0 to 2 wt%. When the mat material is placed between an upper plate and a lower plate and the upper plate is heated at a heating ratio of 15°C/min. and, at the same time, the lower plate is heated at a heating ratio of 8.6°C/min. at GBD of 0.35 g/cm3, the maximum surface pressure of the mat material is 100 kPa or more as measured at a time point at which the temperatures of the upper plate and the lower plate reach 700°C and 400°C, respectively. |
