The invention relates to a device for removing fluid from the surface of a strip fed from a strip processing system in an operating direction by way of a gas stream directed at the moving strip, comprising at least one outlet nozzle with an outlet opening from which the gas stream exits. In order to improve the cleaning effect and to reduce the required amount of gas and the noise level, it is proposed that the longest extension of the outlet opening of each outlet nozzle is smaller than the width of the strip and that the device comprises means for moving each outlet nozzle at an angle relative to the operating direction of the strip, wherein the speed of each outlet nozzle is greater than the speed of the strip. |
