An electronic device (100) is provided with a power supply system (1), and a load circuit (2) to be connected to the power supply system (1). The load circuit (2) switches mutually between a first mode and a second mode. In the first mode, the load circuit (2) operates with electric power supplied by the power supply system (1). Meanwhile, in the second mode, the load circuit (2) will become a state wherein supply of electric power from the power supply system (1) is not necessary. A power-supply control device (4) will stop an AC-DC converter (7), when the mode of the load circuit (2) is switched from the first mode to the second mode.
