PURPOSE: An assembling block and a retaining wall using the assembling block are provided to stably support load in destruction of sharp-slope ground since when a floor member, an assembling block and a finishing member are stacked, the retaining wall is formed so that self-load and its front side slope. CONSTITUTION: An assembling block consists of a front block(20) and a body(30). The front block upwardly slopes to have a given height. The front block comprises a first male and female coupling part(26) to be corresponded to two adjacent sides of four sides and is coupled in an inserting manner. The body is extended to have a stepped part at the rear of the front block and to slope upwardly by a given depth. The body comprises a space(32) with upper and lower openings to hold soil and comprises a first coupling groove(34) so that the upper and lower ends of facing sidewalls(30a,30b) are alternately inserted.
