PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion control device eliminating only noise components to determine knocking.SOLUTION: The combustion control device includes: a first means (ST2) computing a wavelet coefficient dof a level-1 by discrete wavelet transformation on an original signal F(n); a second means (ST2) computing a wavelet coefficient dof a level-2 based on the wavelet coefficient dof the level-1; a third means for specifying the necessity of noise elimination based on a portion exceeding a first threshold TH1 out of the wavelet coefficient dof the level-1 and a portion exceeding a second threshold TH2 out of the wavelet coefficient dof the level-2; a fourth means (ST5) suppressing the levels of the wavelet coefficients of the level-1 and level-2 when the necessity of noise elimination is approved by the third means; and a fifth means (ST7) determining whether knocking occurs based on the wavelet coefficient of the level-1 after suppressing the levels.
