PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more quickly detect the position of a pointer when detecting the same by an electrostatic coupling system.SOLUTION: This pointer detection apparatus is configured to simultaneously supply signals each having different frequency to a plurality of conductors at a transmission side to a conductor pattern in which a plurality of conductors for signal transmission and a plurality of conductors for signal reception cross each other, and to detect a signal of each frequency corresponding to a plurality of signals having the different frequencies at the reception side, and to detect the position of a pointer on the conductor pattern, that is, signal processing is executed in parallel between a plurality of conductors at a transmission side and a reception side, respectively. |
