PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil part for securing the insulating property and strength of a ferrite core and sufficiently assuring a winding region.SOLUTION: In the coil part 1, insulating properties among the ferrite core 2 and terminal electrodes 5 and 5 are secured by coating the surface of the Mn-Zn ferrite core 2 with glass films 15. The strength of the ferrite core 2 is assured by the coating of the glass films 15, and the generation of cracks on boundaries among cores 7 and collars 8. In the coil part 1, at least one of the film thicknesses of the glass films 15 coating the surfaces 7a of the cores 7 and the film thicknesses of the glass films 15 coating the internal side faces 8a of the collars 8 is made smaller than the film thicknesses of others of the glass films 15. Accordingly, the winding regions M are secured sufficiently by suppressing the film thicknesses of the glass films 15 on the surfaces 7a of the cores 7 and the internal side faces 8a of the collars 8. |
