PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus having a function of both general illumination and sterilization, and preventing even global pandemic of the latest type influenza, at the same time, in order to solve the situation, wherein even though conventionally, air cleaner has to be furnished, in addition to a lighting system, at a location where illumination and air cleaning are required, when the latest type influenza prevails more frequently, as has recently been experienced, with high schools, middle schools, and elementary schools closed, reservations for hotels and inns at sightseeing locations are canceled in bulk, and rumored damages such as those experienced by pork meat industry, or the like, as well occur.SOLUTION: Ultraviolet radiation side of a cylindrical ultraviolet lamp is made transparent, and fluorescent paint is applied to the outside of the lamp on the visible light radiation side; or when the paint is applied over the whole surface of the lamp, paint on the ultraviolet radiation side is shaved off; ultraviolet is radiated to perform sterilizing and deodorizing; and harmless visible light passing through a fluorescent paint layer is irradiated onto the side (human dwelling place) which is impermeable to ultraviolet rays. |
