PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compute a rebound distance of a head, which is used for adjusting rebound of the head in head unload operation.SOLUTION: A CPU 21 detects first timing when the head 12 collides with a stopper 173 of a ramp 17, and second timing when the head 12 rebounds by the collision by searching timing when a moving direction of the head 12 has changed in head unload operation. The CPU 21 computes, based on the first timing and second timing, the rebound distance in which the head 12 has rebounded, which is used for adjusting the rebound of the head 12. |
