PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverted spot facing cutting tool having a simple configuration, eliminating the need for a minimum depth length, and enabling an edge tool to be manually inserted in and pulled out in a diameter direction.SOLUTION: The inverted spot facing arbor 11 includes: a main shaft 12 extending along an axis indicated as an alternate long and short dash line and having a rear end in an axis direction with an insertion shape mountable in a holder 101 of a machine tool; the edge tool 13 supported at the tip in the axis direction of the main shaft 12 so as to be turnable, and switched to a storage position allowing it to be tilted along the main shaft 12 and a protruding position allowing it to rise to the main shaft; a spring 22 rotating and raising the edge tool 13 and urging it to the protruding position; and a guide sleeve 16 being a cylindrical body slidably arranged in the axis direction at the outer circumference of the main shaft 12, having a window 18 at a side face, holding the edge tool 13 at the storage position by covering the edge tool 13 at a position at a rear end side in the axis direction, and allowing the edge tool 13 to protrude to an external side in a diameter direction from the window to be switched to the protruding position by exposing the edge tool 13 from the window 18 at a position at a tip side in the axis direction. |
