PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass crushing machine, capable of efficiently performing crushing operation of a series of glass windows without manual operation, the crushing operation being a bottleneck in discarded vehicle scrapping operation for bus and passenger rolling stock.SOLUTION: The glass crushing machine for recovering window glass from a series of glass windows of a vehicle to be scrapped includes: a frame stage (12) which can approach to and separate from a side surface of the vehicle; a lower boom (22) liftably mounted on the frame stage (12); a first boom (24) rockable laterally within a plane crossing the lifting rotational plane of the lower boom (22) at the upper end of the lower boom (22); a second boom (26) changeable in bending angle within a plane parallel to the rocking plane of the first boom (24) at the leading end of the first boom (24); a tool holder (28) changeable in bending angle within a plane parallel to the rocking plane of the first boom (24) at the leading end of the second boom (26); a glass crushing tool (29) attached to the tool holder (28); and a recovery bucket (17) which can be set along the lower edge of a glass window of the vehicle from the outside. |
