AIR-CUSHION SYSTEM FLEXURAL BELT CONVEYOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate requirement for exchange of a belt support roller and to avoid noise and vibration caused by riding up of a flexural belt on the belt support roller in a flexural belt conveyor using the flexural belt.SOLUTION: The flexural belt 3 includes a bottom 3a having a loading surface 17 placed with a loading article; and side walls 3b projected from the loading surface 17 to an upper side on both sides in a width direction of the flexural belt 3. A belt support body 5 arranged below the flexural belt 3, extending in a longitudinal direction of the flexural belt 3 and supporting the flexural belt 3 under an air pressure is provided. On the belt support body 5, a jet hole 5a for jetting air to a lower surface of the flexural belt 3 to float the flexural belt 3 is provided.
