PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a portable gate device limiting the number of users according to the number of users detected.SOLUTION: The portable gate device includes a gate 2 arranged before an entrance of a passenger conveyor 1 and opening/closing according to an opening/closing signal, a camera 5 photographing a predetermined detection area 4 between an opening part and the gate 2, an image processing unit 11 detecting the number of users in the predetermined detection area 4 based on an output image from the camera 5, and a gate control unit 12 outputting the opening/closing signal entirely closing the gate 2 when the number of users detected by the image processing unit 11 is more than a first predetermined number. |
