PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion type power tool which shortens a moving distance of a push lever, releases the sealed state of a combustion chamber by largely opening the combustion chamber, and is excellent in durability.SOLUTION: The combustion type power tool is provided with a gear mechanism 40 between a push lever 9 and a combustion chamber frame, and also between a first and second housings 2A and 2B. A combustion chamber frame side rack 43 of the gear mechanism 40 is engaged with a first gear 41. A second gear 42 is provided with a second small diameter gear 42A having a smaller diameter than the second gear 42, and integrally and coaxially connected to the secure gear 42 so as to be rotatable, and the second gear 42 is engaged with the first gear 41. The second small diameter gear 42A is engaged with the push lever side rack 44. An arm abutting part 44A of the push lever side rack 44 is movable integrally with the push lever 9. A combustion chamber frame abutting part 43A of the combustion chamber frame side rack 43 is movable integrally with the combustion chamber frame. |
