摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system in which, even when a communication partner is located at a distant place which radio waves hardly reach, a modulation and demodulation system is adaptively varied for enabling wireless communication to be performed between wireless communication terminals as further as possible.SOLUTION: Each of wireless communication terminals 1-5 constituting the wireless communication system includes: a path creating and holding means for creating and holding path information of other terminals around an own terminal as an estimate of a transmission line status; and a modulation and demodulation system selecting and setting means for appropriately selecting and setting either a first modulation and demodulation system suitable for high-speed transmission or a second modulation and demodulation system suitable for long-distance transmission as a modulation and demodulation system on the basis of the path information. Each of terminals 3, 4 of relay partners on the path from a transmitting-side terminal 1 transmitting batch distribution data 6 to a receiving-side terminal 2 of a final target continues relay, until reaching the terminal 2, by sequentially performing: selection of the relay partner based on the path information obtained by the path creating and holding function; and selection and setting of the modulation and demodulation system by the modulation and demodulation system selecting and setting function, so that wireless communication is performed by adaptively varying the modulation and demodulation system.
