PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an antistat for a coating agent composition that exhibits good antistatic properties and gives a coating film with suppressed optical defects, an antistat for a coating agent composition obtained by the same and a coating agent composition comprising the antistat for a coating agent composition.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the antistat for the coating agent composition includes subjecting a mixed liquid of an aqueous composition containing a specific anion surfactant, obtained by neutralization in the presence of an acid and/or a salt thereof, and an organic solvent to a dehydration treatment and subjecting the thus-obtained dehydrate to an adsorption treatment with an adsorbent, where the organic solvent has a boiling point of 150-250°C at 1,013 hPa and the adsorbent contains 25-70 wt.% of aluminum oxide. |
