PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake for a creel stand capable of applying braking to a bobbin by a simple constitution, a creel stand and a paying out method for a linear body.SOLUTION: In a brake mechanism 12, a rotation hub 22 provided at both sides in a rotation shaft direction is rotatably supported on a central hub 20 integrally provided on a frame 12A. A braking member 18 is provided on the frame 12A, brakes the rotation hub 22 relative to the frame 12A and the central hub 20 by contacting it with the rotation hub 22 and gives torque comprising contact resistance to a space between the frame 12A and the central hub 20 and the rotation hub 22. A cable 26 is provided on one end in a circumferential direction of the frame 12A, and is engaged with a part 30 to be engaged of the brake mechanism 12 to which a hook 27 provided on a distal end is adjacent. Thereby, it is supported so as not to be rotated relative to a retaining shaft 16. |
